Drink to Donate – Sunday

This weekend, we’re teaming up with your local cafe Signorelli to raise funds and collect donations to support families caught up in the conflict in Ukraine.

For every drink purchased we will donate £1 to the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Get Living has chosen to support this fund as it is being match-funded by the Government, pound-for-pound, up to £20 million.

We will also be collecting essential items on behalf of a local charity to be sent to the Polish border which will be distributed amongst those who need it.* Requested items include;

• new clothing and shoes
• toiletries
• blankets & sleeping bags
• bandages
• nappies and baby wipes
• sanitary products
• crayons and colouring books

Families fleeing the conflict have left their homes with only the items they were able to carry. Your donations will be valued and the funds raised will help provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection.

*If items donated can no longer be accepted by local charities supporting Ukrainian refugees , they will be donated to alternative charitable causes.
