East Village alone has 25-acres of parklands and green spaces, while the Olympic Park covers a whopping 560-acres. To illustrate, that is the equivalent of around 300 football pitches, and it’s bigger than Hyde Park. There are 6.5km of picturesque canal-ways and approximately 26-acres of woods with over 13,000 trees in the Park. That’s a lot of exploring…

East Village has a dedicated community team that actively works to bring people together through activities at The Hall. From homework clubs to toddler groups, sport sessions to ecology workshops – there’s something to get involved in. In 2020 the community set up “The Exchange”, a food and essential items donation that supported local households in Newham through the pandemic.
There are also regular meetups organised for book club, doggy club, LGBTQ+ group, as well as outdoor social events supported by Get Living.
Not only that, East Village feels safe and secure, with a dedicated 24/7 Security team and Get Living’s neighbourhood team has their Welcome Office door open for you six days a week, whether you need a hand, or simply want to say hi!

Urban legend has it that Pale Ale was actually invented here, after a batch of lighter beer, brewed in East London, left for India and matured past its intended maturation point. East London’s primary retail, cultural and leisure centre, Stratford is now the second most significant business location in the East. We can’t wait for the unveiling of the East Bank that will welcome the V&A, BBC studios, and Saddlers Wells theatre. Moreover, the new development will bring with it 2,500 new jobs and an estimated 1.5 billion generation for the local Newham economy.
