Makers Meet – Big Sketch with Liz

Artist Liz will lead a Charcoal Sketch Crawl. For this event, you will have the opportunity to lean expressive charcoal drawing techniques before taking a walk together to explore and capture the textures and sights of East Village

Charcoal and sketchbooks will be provided.

No previous art experience necessary! Comfy shoes and an explorer’s spirit are essential. We sketch come rain or shine so make sure you bring suitable clothing for potentially wet and windy weather.

About the Artist

Liz Atkin is an artist and educator. She reimagines her Compulsive Skim Picking and anxiety into drawings, photographs, and performances. Liz is a mental health advocate and raises awareness for the disorder around the world. She has exhibited and taught in the UK, Europe, Australia, USA, Singapore, and Japan.

All proceeds from ticket sales go towards the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
